Rose Charities Canada Director Collin Yong has been awaded the ASEAN-Canada Society ' Hero' award for 2009. Collin, a Consultant Pediatrician at Vancouver Children's Hospital, has carried out many humanitarian and teaching visits overseas including to the Philippines, China, Ethiopia, Peru, Malaysia and Vietnam. Collin lead the third Rose Charities Emergency Child relief Team to S.E. Sri Lanka in early 2005.
